His response is as follows:-"The Scottish Prison Service is currently conducting a review of the Estate with a view to meeting operational requirements over the next ten years.
To ask the Scottish Executive what steps it will take to promote improvements in the standard of bathing waters at the seven Scottish bathing beaches recently found to have failed to meet the European Union's minimum standards.
To ask the Scottish Executive what assessment it has made of any implications for the financial sector if the demutualisation of Standard Life goes ahead. The Special General Meeting being held by Standard Life on 27 June 2000 will include a vote on the company's mutual status.
