I believe that the framework document faces up to the realities in Scotland, especially in terms of the jobs that are being lost in the traditional industries as they change.Mr MacAskill mentioned one particular topic, and I would like to quote to him from the document:"there must be safeguards for those whose enterprises and jobs are lost, with a focus on the rapid reintegration of people into the workforce through the commitment to lifelong learning and the redevelopment of their skills".In my constituency, at the same time as jobs are being lost in traditional industries, jobs are being created in the new industries.
