In addition, the requirement that all activities associated with approved UKCRF projects (including evaluation) be completed by 31st March 2022 was and is a major cause for concern which has only been heightened by the long delay in announcing UKCRF awards. 4 If the completion date remains March 2022, then there is a strong likelihood that many projects, even if approved, will simply not be able to deliver at all in the remaining time now available and will not accept the funding and risk.
