To ask the Scottish Government how much has been provided to Citizens Advice Scotland from levy funding in each year that the levy has been in place.

The Levy funding for Consumer Advocacy was devolved to Scottish Government 23 May 2016. Debt advice levy funding was devolved to the Scottish Government on 1 January 2019 . The following table sets out annual funding provided by Scottish Government.

*** Previously, the Scottish Government grant funded CAS to provide the Scottish part of a GB-wide consumer helpline, known as the Citizens Advice Consumer Service (CACS). The contract expired at the end of the last financial year, and Scottish Government now fund Advice Direct Scotland, formerly CAD, directly from April 2019

To ask the Scottish Government what the (a) capital and (b) revenue budget for housing maintenance and repair has been for Scottish Canals in each year since its inception.
Answer
The Scottish Government allocates grant-in-aid to Scottish Canals for its statutory duties under the Transport Act 1968. The allocation of this funding is an operational matter for Scottish Canals. I have asked the Chief Executive of Scottish Canals to respond to you directly on this question.

To ask the Scottish Government how many residential properties were owned by British Waterways in Scotland in each of the last five years of its operation, and where they were located.
Answer
This is an operational matter for Scottish Canals. I understand that Scottish Canals do not hold this information which relates to the period prior to 2012 when the British Waterways Board was responsible for the canal network in Scotland, England and Wales.
