Date lodged: 19 August 2021

Question

To ask the Scottish Government how many patients received dental treatment under the NHS between 1 April 2020 to 31 March 2021, and how this compares with the same period in each of the previous five years.

Current status: Answered by Maree Todd on 14 September 2021

Answer

The Scottish Government does not hold this information centrally. However, the number of patients who attended the dentist can be found on Public Health Scotland at: https://publichealthscotland.scot/publications/dental-statistics-registration-and-participation/dental-statistics-registration-and-participation-statistics-as-at-30-september-2020/ .
