Question

To ask the Scottish Government whether it will provide an update on the progress it has made toward the commitment to listen to 1,000 care-experienced people by the end of the parliamentary session.

Answer

The First Minister made a commitment to listen to the voices of 1,000 care experienced people over the course of the Independent Care Review. To date, the First Minister has met, and listened to the views of, around 150 care experienced people. An engagement plan is being developed for the First Minister for 2018 in collaboration with key stakeholders.
