Question

To ask the Scottish Government what progress is being made with public sector housebuilding in Glasgow.


Answer

Glasgow City Council manages the Affordable Housing Supply Programme as a result of the Transfer of Management of Development Funding.

Since the start of the current 50,000 affordable homes target period, a total of 5,459 affordable homes have been delivered in Glasgow, including 3,969 homes for social rent. These homes have been delivered by a variety of registered social landlords.
