To ask the Scottish Government what funding is available to local authorities and charities for urban planting programmes.

The Scottish Government provides over £45m per year of funding for tree planting through the Forestry Grant Scheme, which is available to all land managers including local authorities and charities.

An additional grant contribution is also offered to encourage tree planting projects in urban areas within the Central Scotland Green Network area.
