Question
To ask the Scottish Government what consideration it has given to the introduction of a system of automatic voter registration.
Answer
Automatic registration is not currently under active consideration by the Scottish Government. That said, I am always open to suggestions for practical ways of increasing the number of people who can vote in elections in Scotland.
