Question

To ask the Scottish Government what action it is taking to ensure that court mandated contact orders are safe for both the child and parent with residency.

Answer

We intend to launch a consultation shortly on the review of the Children (Scotland) Act 1995.

This consultation will seek views on a number of issues including who a child should have contact with, how contact should happen and how children and victims of domestic abuse can be protected.
