Galashiels Barber to Compete at World Championships

That the Parliament recognises the upcoming Barbers and Hairdressers World Championship from 26 to 28 October 2024 in Italy, as part of the bi-annual Hair and Beauty Congress created by CMC World Confederation of Hairdressing and Aesthetics; notes that the president of CMC UK is Luigi Caterino, owner of The Italian Job Barbers in Galashiels, who will be competing alongside a number of other talented UK entrants who have been selected by him and his vice-president, Lucy Martin, against entrants from 49 other countries around the world; believes that the hair and beauty industry represents an important part of the Scottish economy, employing many highly talented individuals, and wishes all team UK entrants the best of luck at the competitions.
