Baljaffray Primary School Wins Prestigious UNICEF Award

That the Parliament recognises Baljaffray Primary School, in Bearsden, on achieving a Gold award by UNICEF UK’s Rights Respecting School programme; notes that the school has become the seventh school in East Dunbartonshire to win the award, which is granted to schools that show commitment to promoting and realising children’s rights and encouraging adults, children and young people to respect the rights of others in school; understands that Gold is the highest accolade given by UNICEF UK and shows a thorough commitment to children’s rights at all levels of school life, and congratulates all the staff, pupils and their families on their hard work and dedication being rewarded.
