That the Parliament notes the success of the four East Lothian organisations that have been named category regional winners in the 2023 Central and East Scottish Thistle Awards; understands that the successful nominees include Drift, located to the east of North Berwick, which was named the winner of the Best Eating Experience award, Fringe By the Sea, which won in the Outstanding Cultural Event or Festival category, East Lothian Cottages, near Morham, which won the Climate Action Award, and Foxlake Adventures, located between West Barns and East Linton, which won the Best Outdoor Experience category; understands that 600 entries were submitted, including almost 1,200 nominations from members of the public keen to give hotels, restaurants, bed and breakfasts, visitor attractions and individuals the opportunity to be recognised for their contribution to the sector and the Scottish economy, and congratulates these four organisations and all the other winners and nominees on their success at the 2023 regional awards.
