That the Parliament recognises the work that the RSPB has been doing to create an additional habitat at Barons Haugh Nature Reserve in Motherwell; notes reports that the charity has been working to seek approval from North Lanarkshire Council to carry out the land engineering for this to be created, and understands that the RSPB believes that, with this new work being done, it would also lead to the creation of a new, open water habitat for wildlife.
