  • Submitted by: Michelle Thomson, Falkirk East, Scottish National Party.
  • Date lodged: Friday, 31 March 2023
  • Motion reference: S6M-08422

That the Parliament congratulates the Corbie Inn, located in Bo’ness, on securing the title of Forth Valley’s Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) Pub of the Year 2023; understands that the Forth Valley CAMRA was originally established in 1976 and is part of the wider UK movement of over 200 branches, which campaign from a consumer rights perspective for real ale and real pubs; notes that the Corbie Inn competed against four other local pubs to secure the Forth Valley CAMRA’s Pub of the Year, and will now move forward to be assessed against other CAMRA branches throughout Scotland, in the search of Scottish Pub of the Year 2023; congratulates the Corbie Inn on being named Forth Valley CAMRA’s Pub of the Year 2023, and wishes the Corbie Inn and all staff the best of luck in the running for Scottish Pub of the Year 2023.
