That the Parliament welcomes the kindness of Coltness Community Council and Lynsay Govan, community champion at Morrisons, Wishaw, for providing much-needed essentials to many in the community who, it understands, are currently struggling financially due to the cost of living increase; understands that Coltness Community Council has opened a community larder, providing food, toiletries and companionship whilst signposting to other organisations to help ensure that they are receiving all the financial and emotional support available; further understands that many larders and foodbanks across Scotland have seen a rise in demand over the past few months, and thanks all the organisations involved, who are providing support to the residents of Coltness and surrounding area, and wishes them all the best for the future.
