That the Parliament congratulates Killin and District Volunteer Car Scheme on being awarded £8,650 from the National Lottery Awards for All Scotland fund in December 2022; understands that Killin and District Volunteer Car Scheme was established in 2018, offering a door-to-door voluntary car service for people who struggle with accessing public transport in the Killin Medical Practice area and Strathyre; notes that all drivers are volunteers and that they assist people to drive to and from hospital appointments, health centres, clubs, day centres and activities, and have become a key service in the local community; wishes Killin and District Volunteer Car Scheme future success, and encourages new volunteers and drivers to come forward.
