That the Parliament praises Baby Loss Retreat, a Lanarkshire-based charity supporting bereaved parents, for launching a new support group based within Chris’s House in Wishaw; understands that Baby Loss Retreat will be hosting its new peer support sessions, in addition to existing meetings for families who have experienced loss through miscarriage, stillbirth and neonatal death, to allow families to come together to share their experiences with other parents and charity representatives; notes that Chris’s House is a Wishaw-based charity that provides 24-hour support for people in mental health crises, as well as promoting positive mental health awareness and wellbeing across Lanarkshire; understands that the sessions are part of the wide range of free-of-charge support offered by Baby Loss Retreat, which also includes individual and online counselling, trauma therapy, music therapy for siblings, and two-day tranquil retreats for grieving parents; congratulates Julie and Bryan Morrison on marking the charity’s fifth anniversary, commends their commitment to providing a safe space for those who need it, and wishes them all the best for the future.
