  • Submitted by: Meghan Gallacher, Central Scotland, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party.
  • Date lodged: Monday, 13 February 2023
  • Motion reference: S6M-07827

That the Parliament welcomes the benches that have been installed to brighten up the Airbles Road dementia garden in Motherwell; recognises the local award-winning Scottish artist, John Martin Fulton, who designed three benches for the garden, and who was on hand to unveil them; understands that the NHS Lanarkshire occupational therapy team and Clydesdale Community Initiative staff recently hosted a volunteer appreciation day to celebrate the hard work of volunteers, and notes that the volunteers meet every week and attend all aspects of gardening activities throughout the seasons.
