Colin Blair Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

That the Parliament congratulates Colin Blair on receiving the DRAM lifetime achievement prize at the Scottish Bar and Pub Awards 2022; understands that Mr Blair is well known for having helped to create what it understands is one of the most successful hospitality businesses in Scotland, as the Buzzworks Holdings chairman, and that he was presented with the accolade for his long-standing commitment to the sector at a ceremony in Glasgow; notes that Mr Blair runs 16 successful businesses across the country with more than 650 staff members as well as managing all acquisitions and developments as co-owner of Buzzworks; recognises that the Scottish Bar and Pub Awards, now in their 27th year, and dubbed the hospitality Oscars, celebrate Scotland’s licensed trade and shine a spotlight on all aspects of the industry, featuring 24 possible awards categories with 600 attendees; commends Mr Blair on this prestigious award, and wishes him the best of luck in the future.
