Congratulating Greyhope on Starting its New Eco Facility

  • Submitted by: Liam Kerr, North East Scotland, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party.
  • Date lodged: Friday, 19 November 2021
  • Motion reference: S6M-02179

That the Parliament congratulates Greyhope on starting the building of its new project, which includes a dolphin viewing centre, café and new education and community space; applauds the work that Greyhope is doing as a charitable organisation, and in building this off-grid, eco facility, which will allow for visitors to come and be educated on the environment, wildlife and heritage of the headland; understands the need to educate people about the environment in the north east; considers that education is an important tool in the transition to net zero, allowing organisations to champion Scotland's varying wildlife, and wishes Greyhope all the best for the project.
