That the Parliament congratulates the Dee and Don Ceilidh Collective on being nominated in the Community Project of the Year at the 2021 MG Alba Scots Trad Music Awards; notes that the group was launched in 2016 to promote arts, culture and heritage through music and dance in the north-east by getting communities together; applauds its work showcasing the region; notes that its most recent project, Our Living Rivers and Glens, encouraged its members to venture into the area they live and capture sounds, video and images for an online media map; acknowledges the new music created by composers in response to this inspiration, and wishes the Dee Don and Ceilidh Collective all the best for awards night.
