Fundraising Success for Blythswood Care

That the Parliament congratulates Blythswood Care for raising £17,482 in a charity auction held in Inverness; understands that all donations will go towards the charity’s Talita Kum project, which is based in Jimbolia, Romania; notes that the Talita Kum project has been running for 20 years and came as a response to the Romanian revolution of 1989; further notes that the charity provides after-school programmes for children aged between 7 and 14 years and who are from the poorest households, which includes providing clothing, meals and educational support; welcomes the charity’s long-running commitment to vulnerable communities in Romania, and wishes the charity continued fundraising success in the future.
