National Lottery Funding for George Street Park Regeneration Group

That the Parliament recognises that George Street Park Regeneration Group has received £10,000 from the National Lottery Awards for All Scotland; understands that the group will revive the current dilapidated play park that is located in central Motherwell with a new play space and play equipment, benefiting a wide range of young people in the area, including children with additional support needs from the local Fir Park school; expresses thanks to the group for leading on the regeneration of the local park, and wishes the group all the best for the future.
