That the Parliament understands that the life of a woman in Airdrie was saved by three members of the public, including an off-duty nurse, Mhairi Buchanan, after using a defibrillator from a nearby pub, which had been paid for and installed by the Kieran McDade Foundation; notes that the charity has donated 115 of the life-saving devices to grassroots football clubs, since it was established in 2017, in the memory of Airdrie teenager Kieran McDade, who had a cardiac arrest while playing football, and commends the aim of the charity, which is to have at least one accessible defibrillator in every town and village in Scotland.
