Mayfield and Easthouses Development Trust (MAEDT) Opens Community Food Pantry

That the Parliament congratulates the Mayfield and Easthouses Development Trust (MAEDT) on the successful opening of its Community Food Pantry; understands that the pantry offers a membership programme to all local residents; recognises the measures taken by MAEDT to remove the stigma of food banks, and the longer-term support it aims to offer local people through the pantry; welcomes this brilliant initiative for the local community; thanks MAEDT for its hard work and wishes it well going forward.
