That the Parliament congratulates Darcy McGuire from Glenrothes, who is seven, on raising around £6,000 for CHAS by holding a summer fête, exceeding her £1,000 target by six times; acknowledges that CHAS is the only charity in Scotland that provides hospice services for babies, children and young people with life-shortening conditions; notes that it offers palliative care and respite for the whole family at Rachel House in Kinross and Robin House in Balloch, as well as its CHAS at Home service and Diana Children’s Nurse service, which support families in their own homes and in clinical settings across the whole of the country; understands that Darcy has chordoma, which a rare form of bone cancer that effects one in every 20 million children each year; notes that, since she was referred to Rachel House, Darcy, along with her family, has begun working through a "bucket list", which has included her meeting elephants, travelling in a limo, seeing her favourite pop star in concert and raising money for CHAS by giving hand massages and manicures to staff, volunteers and families at the hospice, and sends its best wishes to Darcy and her family.
