Sandy Bruce, Curriculum Leader for Automotive Engineering at Edinburgh College

That the Parliament congratulates Sandy Bruce, the curriculum leader for Automotive Engineering at Edinburgh College, on being shortlisted by the Institute of the Motor Industry for his contribution to the work of the institute and for providing a high standard of qualification and progression routes for automotive students in Edinburgh and the Lothians; notes that the institute is the awarding body for all VRQ and SVQ courses in light, heavy, body, paint and parts courses across both Edinburgh College’s Midlothian and Sighthill automotive campuses; understands that Sandy was due to attend the institute’s awards ceremony and dinner in London on 6 March 2019; considers this shortlisting well merited, and wishes Sandy continued success in his role going forward.
