That the Parliament congratulates Brighter Bothwell on its recent success at the Beautiful Scotland awards, which were presented in Haddington; applauds it on winning the Gold medal and trophy in the Best Small Town category; welcomes the hard work of the group, which organises litter picks, provides floral displays, cares for plants, carries out weeding and pruning and generally strives to keep Bothwell beautiful; notes that it also promotes biodiversity and a "Bee Friendly Bothwell"; recognises that, in addition to this success, the group also won the Haddington 700 Award for the work of the Bothwell Horticultural Society, which is now celebrating 176 years since its inauguration; appreciates the excellent work that Brighter Bothwell does for the community, and wishes it continued success.
