Congratulations to Springburn Academy Students

That the Parliament congratulates students, families, teachers and the wider Springburn Academy community on their wonderful efforts over the last year, which were recognised at the Springburn Academy awards ceremony on 5 June 2018; notes that the ceremony saw the Springburn Academy Band entertain those attending the event, which paid tribute to student achievements for attendance, effort and academia, as well as a number of special awards, including the Eton Glass for Technology, which was won by Somer Umeed, the William McNab Award, which was jointly awarded to Klejvi Mucaj and Kenzie Stanley, the Parent Council Award, which was given to Emma Porter, the Molly Weir Trust Award, which went to Jordan Kirkpatrick, and the John Shaw Memorial Award, which went to Abbie McClafferty; acknowledges the substantial achievements of the S1-S4 Dux winners, Qian Qian Lin, Emma Porter, Julia Hebda and Callum Coulter, and the Dux of the School, Mohammad-Bassim Sartawi; pays tribute to the work of Mrs Hamilton and everyone involved with Springburn Academy for all that they contribute to the community, and wishes all students, whether returning in the next academic year or moving onto the next exciting part of their life, every success and happiness for their future.
