That the Parliament notes the continued success of the Busby Hotel; congratulates Juliet Parry of the hotel on being shortlisted in the General Manager (Small Hotel) of the Year category at the Scottish Hotel Awards, which celebrate the achievements of the country's hotel and hospitality professionals; commends Juliet and the rest of the hotel staff on continuing to ensure that, following a period of redevelopment, it remains one of the most highly rated hotels and restaurants in the Eastwood area; understands that Juliet has extensive experience in the hospitality sector, which she joined on leaving school; acknowledges that she has previously worked for the Marine Hotel in Troon and the Millennium Hotel in Glasgow; notes the hotel's previous success at these awards, and wishes Juliet all the best when the winners are announced on 22 April 2018.
