That the Parliament welcomes the official opening of the GlenWyvis Distillery in Dingwall; notes that it is Scotland’s first 100% community-owned and 100% green energy-powered distillery; understands that it will aim to produce high-quality Scottish whisky and craft gin; believes that it will play an important role in attracting more visitors to Dingwall to spend time and money there as a quality destination on the North Coast 500 tourist route; notes that it is the first distillery to open in the town for almost a century, and wishes GlenWyvis well for the future.
