That Parliament congratulates Lapidus Scotland, which is based in the Glasgow Maryhill and Springburn constituency, on receiving £10,000 from Awards For All programme; understands that Lapidus Scotland will provide classes for those caring for people with, and living with, terminal illness; welcomes that this new funding will establish three programmes, "Water Stories" aboard the Peccadillo Barge on the Clyde Canal, "Kibble Scribbles" involving 24 two-hour writing sessions open to anyone with a long-term condition such as cancer, MS, mental ill health or arthritis, and "Art into Writing", which is for survivors and encourages participants to build their confidence by trying new and different methods of painting to increase creative skill; wishes Lapidus Scotland and all those who will now have the opportunity to participate in these activities every success, and believes that such an approach to supporting people who live with terminal, life-shortening and life-threatening conditions will make a major contribution to the quality of life of those individuals and their families.
