That the Parliament congratulates Kids Innerleithen Youth Theatre, which has been awarded the Robert Noble Trophy by the Creative Peebles Festival committee; acknowledges that the theatre was set up just 18 months ago with the aim of teaching and encouraging young people from across the district to take up music, drama, dance and stagecraft; understands that the Robert Noble Trophy was first given to the Peebles Arts Festival in 1985 and is awarded annually to an individual or organisation who has notably and successfully encouraged young people in Tweeddale to engage with and participate in the arts, and wishes Kids Innerleithen Youth Theatre further success as it continues to grow.
