That the Parliament notes that on 3 September 2017 the Tesco Bank Tour O’ the Borders will be taking place; understands that around 2,500 cyclists will be taking part in the country’s largest closed-road sportive; believes that there will be two routes, the challenge route, which runs for 88km, and the main route, which stretches to 120km, both of which pass by local sights such as St Mary’s Loch, Megget Reservoir, Traquair House and Talla Water, and hopes that the organisers and participants have a safe, fun ride through Tweeddale.
