Community Justice Centre Opens in Wishaw

That the Parliament welcomes the opening of the new community justice centre for women in Wishaw; recognises that it will offer support by providing a wide range of services for women in the criminal justice system, ranging from housing and childcare help to drugs and alcohol interventions; understands that it aims to help reduce reoffending and support women who want to change their lives; notes that it was officially opened by the former Lord Advocate, Dame Elish Angiolini, and will work with partners, including the NHS and the voluntary sector, to help provide its wide range of services, and wishes everyone involved with the centre all the very best.
