Leith Agency Wins #VOOM Virgin Media SME of the Year

That the Parliament congratulates the Leith Agency, a creative agency based in Leith, on receiving the #VOOM Virgin Media Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) of the Year Award on 17 November 2016 at the Scottish Business Awards, which were held in the Edinburgh International Conference Centre; appreciates that the awards were founded in order to recognise and celebrate excellence in Scottish business and the people who are building and leading successful, growing and dynamic businesses in Scotland; acknowledges that the #VOOM Virgin Media SME of the Year Award recognises Scotland’s best SME, highlighting the best small- to medium-size companies that are the lifeblood of the Scottish economy; notes that Leith Agency was born and raised out of the docks of Edinburgh; recognises that it is a fully integrated creative agency in Edinburgh, which is predominantly focused on advertising as well as supporting the development of the local creative community, helping brands and organisations punch above their weight with bold ideas; considers that Leith Agency is particularly known for its advertisements for the Scottish soft drink, Irn-Bru; appreciates that this award is a testament to the hard work of all those who have been involved in the Leith Agency, contributing to its development and success since 1984, and wishes the agency all the best for the future.
