That the Parliament welcomes the establishment of a partnership between Harlaw Academy, Aberdeen City Council and Developing the Young Workforce, which has the objective of raising awareness among young people of the changing nature of employment and the skills needed in Aberdeen; notes that an interactive jobs fair has been organised to encourage pupils to consider their career path at a young age; acknowledges that pupils from Harlaw Academy have been involved with the organisation of the event; believes that, through education and skills development at an early stage, economic development and potential in the city can be unlocked, and wishes everyone all the best for the event that, it believes, is sure to deliver real opportunities for young people.
