That the Parliament congratulates all the winners at the sixth annual Celebrate Aberdeen Awards, which took place at the Chester Hotel in Aberdeen on 1 November 2025; notes that the event, which was attended by around 300 people, celebrated the contribution that charities, social enterprises and voluntary groups make to wider society, as well as the individuals who work for and support them; understands that the winners included Somebody Cares for the Large Organisation of the Year award, Home-Start Aberdeen for the Small Organisation of the Year award, Northfield Community Centre for the Community Impact award, Ailie MacIntosh, from Charlie House, for the Young Supporter of the Year award, John MacMillan at Somebody Cares for the Volunteer/Fundraiser of the Year award, Community Integrated Care’s Peter Pan: Adventure in Neverland for the Event/Campaign of the Year award, and Charlene Kilpatrick for the Heart of the Community award; believes that these awards recognise the hard work and dedication of those working for and supporting the third sector in Aberdeen; hopes the winners are all rightly proud of their achievements, and wishes them all the best with their future endeavours.
