That the Parliament congratulates the Borders constituents, Ben MacCallum and Sammi Kinghorn, on winning awards at the highly regarded Helping It Happen Awards 2025, hosted by Scottish Land & Estates, which recognise the efforts of exceptional individuals in the rural sector; commends Ben MacCallum on his success in winning the Education Award for his work with TweedStart in the preservation of rural skills, including fly fishing, rivercraft, and aquatic ecology; recognises what it sees as his tireless efforts to ensure that traditional knowledge remains accessible and relevant through structured courses, mentoring and youth ambassador programmes; commends Sammi Kinghorn on winning the Rural Rising Star Award for her continued commitment to inspiring rural communities by advocating for farm safety, mental health and inclusion; believes that the positive impact that she has made across agriculture is profound, as she has transformed personal adversity into leadership; congratulates them both on what it sees as outstanding achievements, and wishes them well for the future.
