That the Parliament notes that the 29th Annual STUC Black Workers’ Conference will be held on 18-19 October 2025; further notes the involvement of the STUC Black Workers’ Committee, and of trade unionists across Scotland, in the Justice for Sheku Bayoh campaign; understands that the conference will focus on tackling the far right in Scotland; believes that all communities, including those across the north east of Scotland, should unite against what it sees as rising levels of intolerance, hatred and division; praises the STUC Black Workers’ Conference for taking concrete steps to organise against bigotry and hatred; encourages all across the Parliament to support the trade union movement, especially its efforts to mobilise for the Scotland Demands Better march and rally on 25 October and the St Andrew’s Day Anti-Racist march and rally on 29 November, and sends its solidarity to all delegates and attendees at the 29th Annual STUC Black Workers’ Conference.
