That the Parliament welcomes the official opening of the new Energy Transition Skills Hub in Aberdeen, which is a project that has been spearheaded by ETZ Ltd, in partnership with North East Scotland College and Shell UK; understands that the new facility is the transformational anchor project of the Skills Campus in the city’s Energy Transition Zone, and will ensure a pipeline of expertise and talent key to unlocking Scotland’s energy transition and securing the highly skilled workforce of the future; considers that the Scottish Government’s Just Transition Fund has been central to the development of the Energy Transition Skills Hub, supporting Aberdeen to retain its reputation as a hub of energy excellence, and wishes everyone involved in the hub every success for the future.
