WIN Project Shortlisted for SURF Award

That the Parliament congratulates Routes to Work South on What I Need in Life (WIN) being shortlisted in the Removing Barriers to Employability category of what it sees as the prestigious 2025 SURF Awards for Best Practice in Community Regeneration; acknowledges that WIN is a holistic service co-designed with clients, adopting a whole-person approach that addresses physical, emotional, mental and social aspects while removing barriers to progression and enabling meaningful participation; believes that WIN provides clients with a second chance by offering them a safe and supportive environment to build confidence and create stability and allowing them to flourish at their own pace; commends all of the staff, volunteers and partners involved in delivering what it sees as this innovative and impactful programme; notes that the outcomes of the 2025 SURF Awards will be announced at a presentation on 4 December; understands that the awards provide an opportunity for regeneration projects to demonstrate their value to funders, partners and the wider public, support team-building and develop a national profile, and believes that the awards celebrate innovation, best practice and achievement in improving communities.
