That the Parliament congratulates Stenhousemuir Football Club on hosting a successful fundraising day in support of Guide Dogs UK at Ochilview Park; notes that the club welcomed three guide dog puppies in training, Bob, Oola and Oake, who met fans, staff and volunteers as part of their early socialisation and training programme; recognises Guide Dogs UK, which is the world’s largest assistance dog organisation and is almost entirely funded by donations; further recognises what it sees as the crucial national role of Guide Dogs in supporting over two million people in the UK living with sight loss, with, it understands, 250 people every day beginning to lose their sight; commends the charity’s work in training and providing guide dogs, campaigning for accessibility and equality, and improving mobility and independence for people with visual impairment; welcomes plans for Stenhousemuir Football Club and Guide Dogs UK to work together to enhance accessibility for fans with visual or auditory impairments; pays tribute to the commitment of staff, volunteers and puppy raisers who make this life-changing work possible, and encourages other football clubs and community organisations across Scotland to follow Stenhousemuir Football Club’s example in supporting Guide Dogs and championing inclusion.
