Recognising the Contribution of Asda Newmains Through the Asda Foundation

That the Parliament recognises the contribution of Asda Newmains in supporting communities through the Asda Foundation; notes that the store awarded £532 to Parent Council Coltness High School, which supports pupils and families through educational initiatives and activities; further notes that  £1,000 was given to Pathway Church, which provides social support, mentoring and community activities for families in need; understands that these grants will help the organisations enhance opportunities for learning and social engagement in Newmains, and welcomes the commitment of Asda Newmains to supporting organisations that make a difference.
