That the Parliament congratulates Preston Lodge High School Pipe Band, based in Prestonpans, East Lothian, on retaining its title as the world’s best state school pipe band; notes the band’s outstanding performance at the World Pipe Band Championships held at Glasgow Green; commends the dedication of the pupils, Pipe Major Lee Moore, and all staff and volunteers involved in the band’s success; acknowledges the band’s contribution to the local community through regular performances and its role in promoting Scottish musical heritage, and wishes the band continued success in future competitions.
