That the Parliament congratulates the Aberdeen finalists in the Scottish Bar and Pub Awards; notes that Siberia Bar and Hotel, based on Belmont Street, has been nominated for the Staropramen Award for Outstanding Quality and that Poppy Kerr from the Bartenders Lounge, based on North Silver Street, has been nominated for the Schweppes Mixologist of the Year; understands that the awards, which are run by hospitality magazine, DRAM, are now in their 30th year, and will see winners being crowned in an Oscar-themed gala ceremony in Glasgow on 26 August 2025; believes that these awards are a great way of recognising staff and venues who provide top quality service to their customers, and wishes both Poppy and the staff at Siberia the very best of luck when the winners of their categories are announced.
