That the Parliament congratulates Staggs Bar in Musselburgh on winning the coveted Scotland’s Pub of the Year award; notes that the prestigious award was given by Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA); understands that Staggs Bar, also known as The Volunteer Arms, has been run by the same family for over 150 years; recognises that Staggs Bar has won multiple accolades on previous occasions, including pub of the year in 1998 and other CAMRA awards; believes that the achievement is down to the hard working and dedicated team, and wishes the owners and staff continuing success in the future.
