Asda Foundation Grant for The Living Well Project

That the Parliament congratulates the Living Well Project on receiving a £1,000 grant from the Asda Foundation; understands that the grant was awarded through the Asda stores at Dyce and Middleton Park, with this project having been nominated by the people and communities that these stores serve; acknowledges the ongoing support provided by the Living Well Project to vulnerable people throughout Aberdeen; commends the project's dementia cafes, which aim to provide a safe and welcoming space for some of the most vulnerable in society; recognises the admirable work undertaken by the project’s volunteer force in staffing these cafes and providing what it sees as an invaluable service for the area, and welcomes the continued funding provided by the Asda Foundation for third sector organisations.
