That the Parliament congratulates the team at the Great Tapestry of Scotland Visitor Centre in Galashiels on being named among the top 10% of visitor attractions worldwide for the second consecutive year in the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards 2025; acknowledges what it sees as the dedication, creativity and passion of the small team behind the centre, whose commitment to delivering a consistently five-star visitor experience has earned international acclaim; recognises the vital role played by the local community in supporting and contributing to the centre’s ongoing success; believes that the centre has importance as a cultural and tourism landmark in the Scottish Borders, and celebrates what it considers is its growing global reputation as a welcoming, inclusive and inspiring attraction at the heart of Galashiels.
